KILO TYPE
Type design // Sans-serif
The KILO font is a Sans Serif Extended font influenced by «antique» classics such as Antique Olive. The width of the characters and their revisited design bring a contemporary touch to the KILO. Inspired by the generous shapes of the 60’s, KILO’s imposing features and gentle curves instill great clarity.
The font includes several designs for the letters a, e, f, j, t, u, x, y - these alternatives offer even greater typographic flexibility. The mix of sans-serif typefaces with more extravagant ones makes the KILO unique and experimental. Ligature work reinforces the visual impact of the graphic compositions to create a uniform, easily controllable gray.

BOLD TYPE FOUNDRY
As part of my diploma project, I worked around the combination of typography, furniture design, and product design. Within the context of a graphic design studio, the aim was to create furniture based on custom-designed typefaces.
Inspired by the early twentieth century myth of «Total Art», my project advocates an absolute formal balance between living spaces and graphic design. A return to the Bauhaus era as it was originally imagined by Walter Gropius !
Thus, my letter is an object, and my object is a letter.
